On the S2 pro I can get an about 720p but over compressed quality, the same as what you can get on a desktop computer in Chrome browser. So that's also a question, why 720p is the max resolution in Chrome on a desktop machine while you can get 4K in Microsoft Edge, using the same machine. Maybe you didn't have a MediaTek based smartphone before, or they had smaller srcreen and you could realize the difference.

I had UMI phones before and software-support is not always the best at UMI. Unfortunelately.
Are you planning to make the sources public from the UMI A1 Pro so other parties can make an even better rom and support...I am specially thinking about the monthly security updates of Google.

I'm asking because Umi it's not on the android certified partners list but searching the forums i found comments saying that not all but some devices are certified (like the S2 Lite as proved on this video https://www.dropbox.com/s/d3e7ax ... e_gms_cert.mp4?dl=0)

Yes, all new models (started with the S2 Lite) will be google certified since that's no more possible to release new Android devices without that certification. Actually this obligation makes the development longer by about 1 month.
