Yes, it does. This tool works with all MediaTek based smartphones.

I had no luck, loaded the scatter and new logo.bin but no response from SPFT when connecting phone.
Also tried your battery and volume button suggestions.
If I ever need to flash the complete rom in the future with Rootjoy, would replacing the new logo.bin file into rom folder work?

You should check the drivers and the USB connection on your computer. Maybe you should use another USB cable or port. Rootjoy is not able to flash the logo.bin file.

Thanks for the advice but I already tried your drivers and USB port suggestions on my current Windows 7 32bit.
I'll test it all again tomorrow on another PC which has a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit.

That's a good idea. Nowadays the 32-bit systems offer lower hardware compatibility.

Worked fine on 64bit Windows ... done in a few seconds.That horrible white logo is gone!!
