Anyway please give some feedback about the update to see if it is worth the (at least) 2 hour update.

You may only download the firmware with Rootjoy, then install it with twrp, choosing just wipe the dalvik-cache only.

It sucks to need a full wipe just to update your firmware.

And.... do we have a full changelog for this update?

On ROMJD says "Firmware Upgrade, Image optimisation".
I'll try to install it with TWRP on the weekend.

Yes, you can, but the download doesn't work with rootjoy yet.

You can upgrade from 1.5v to 1.7v because ROM is Fully Rom. You can install 1.7v with TWRP reocvery. And then only Wipe and Dvk.
