You can only test the camera features in engineer mode, but not change them permanently.

Your camera module (or the phone itself) should be replaced. Contact your reseller.

I have encountered a problem too.

Seems like i have a black/dark dot on every picture i take. Always at the same spot. I already checked the glass of the lense, if there is something damaged or so. But nothing. I have taken some pictures for you:

If you don't see it, i marked it in this one:

So... i dont know if there is something BEHIND the camera-glass OR if there is something wrong with the camera itself :/
On some pictures it's very hard to see, so its not that big deal...but on others like the one where i pictured the sky... you see it...no matter the case... and if you know there is a dark spot you will ALWAYS look at it fist which is really annoying.

What should i do?

When you said you checked the glass of the lens, you mean the outermost glass? This is just for protection. The real camera lens is in the camera modul behind it and it is really small.
Maybe you have a small dust on it, but it seems more like a sensor error, or dust on the sensor. (If it would be on the lens, it would be much softer since it would be really out of focus.)

Yes i only checked the "outer" glass... so the protective one for the lense. I did not want to open my phone unless i am really in need to.

But..thats the point. Would it be on the outer glass or the lense itself it would be a very blurry spot.. because you already said it... it's always out of the focus.Also... if you look closely there is a brighter area around the spot.

It is to mention that this spot WAS NOT there from the very beginning. My first pictures are all good and without this ugly spot. But after a while i discovered it...

The brighter area around the spot is just the sharpening. The Iron uses too much sharpening for my taste. And this sharpening combined with a not so good (camera) noise reduction makes the noise more visible too.
I think the default sharpening value should be lowered.

I'm also experimenting with a filter to correct the "purple tone" of the image centre compared to the image side but haven't found the perfect setup yet. (But it helps a lot in the current state too)

Hi,
I use UMI IRON for about three weeks now,and i have the same camera problem!
I've installed 1.8 version and the picture quality is still bad.
When zooming in the picture the colours are like printed on a canvas!
I hope UMI will fix this in the next update!
