Hi,

The slow USB issue is about the MTP driver. In recovery you can access the sd-card as mass storage device.

the problem is the same as much as MTP, such as USB
the speed is equal in both, 488 kb / s
RECOVERY mode got the speed of 14 mb / s with a file weighing 570mb
ROM itself is the problem is not completely stable

Mr. moderator if you have an  in their hands UMI IRON  can realize that the problem is widespread USB (MTP, USB)

If I want to copy to my Iron that is available on the internet, I always make a QR code of the link and download it directly to the phone. If it is not in the internet, I use an FTP server on my Iron and copy over WiFi.
I know this is not normal, but still better than copy over USB till UMI fix this.
