I have installed the latest ROM for my umi super, and now I am having a problem with ghost touches
on the fingerprint scanner.I have wiped cache, factory reset etc and it is still registering touches even
on a flat smooth surface.
Here are my battery life results with running this latest ROM.
7h 45 min in PCMark's Work 2.0 battery life test and 8h 48 min screen on time while and after running the PCMark test.
Adaptive brightness was on and the brightness level set to maximum.
It's definitely a very good and until now the best battery performance of this model, so if you get short battery life, you should be suspicious about your apps or your specific battery.
Next time I'm going to test the standby battery life but that needs about 6 day to be processed.

Unfortunately your battery is damaged but it had already started to get damaged while you were running Android 6.0 versions. That's just an accidental coincidence, you realized it only after installing this latest update. In Android 6.0 the charging power was 12V/1A while now it's only 12V/0.8A, and a lower charging power won't stress the battery more, of course.
Yeah it's really damaged not even can hold the charge now..and a new one it's on his way!!
But so I can conclude the life of this battery's it's about 10 months when fully charging it everyday with the fast charger..!?

You were just unlucky at this time, it's not a general issue. Even most of the first buyers have been still using their phones with its original battery for 13 months already without any issue.
