I do not share your point of view.
You are thinking about hardware problems, whereas when you rollback on an old release of the ROM, the defects disappear.
I practice android since the very first release and already flashed smartphone on various OS.
I can confirm that the defect is not hardware on the phones because there would be no reasons that the GPS, camera or other services recover their functioning by returning to an earlier ROM.

I do not think absolutely that a return of the goods to the seller is the solution.
For those who have upgraded ROMs with operating problems in spite of an update or OTA realized with flashtool + reset factory, I invite them to make a roolback on the ROM which was working later.
I just think that the dev have difficulty to get the drivers of the equipment and some source code, so they fill in the approximate and this ... is seen by the variable quality of the equipment of the smartphone according to The ROM that we put on it.
It is in my opinion essential that UMI recovers this information for future releases. It is useless to make a super smartphone with a quality finish as good to put a ROM incomplete or unsuitable compared to the equipment of the smartphone.
It is sacrificing the quality of the material because one has no competent devellopers.
It's a shame and it hurts the image of UMI which however has nothing to reproach itself from a hardware point of view.

Try to use another USB cable and/or Computer.

I tried with new USB cable still I facing same problem whenever i switch on the mobile or connected to PC it automatically restarting infinite time.

Can i claim waranty or can you provide me any other resolution

Hey guys,
It's a great phone with nice hardware. The rom is great too but still has some bugs...
When i play music with "Napster" there is no music controller in notification bar or on lockscreen. In settings is nothing like that forbidden. Until now i found no solution and  i really don't know how to fix it... Maybe someone else has same problems?

I was just suspecting some hardware problems because some users weren't content neither on Android 6.x nor on Android 7.x. (and in one case Ben confirmed faulty lenses, which of course statistically means nothing). Whereas for many users at least one of the two does the trick.
Agree that Android 6.x runs more stable and camera is better. I would say 7.x is a bit faster but picture quality is less stable.
Also agreed that it's a shame to release 'unfinished' ROMs for an otherwise we'll finished phone (compared to my UMI Touch it's really a big step forward)...

If Umidigi has not upgraded Android Nougat the Z Pro phone yet, he will not. Submit the source code so that at least someone will do a normal acting Nougat custom rom on it !!! The Noah H 10 Rom is still the best choice, unfortunately...

Hello fellas, after updating to the Latest OTA Update via SP Flash Tool , everything went great , until i noticed that network didn't worked ,when looked up into that i realised that i had no IMEI number at all , and it says INVALID IMEI.
YES , i tried ti rewrite the IMEI Numbers with SN Writer , but no success , tried also to downgrade to an older version of Android 6.0 & 7.0 , still the same problem. But luckyly it works with NOA h10 rom
Anyone can help?

I found SN Writer difficult to use and some of the terms used were confusing. I failed the first time and then went back and started again with the app on one side of the computer screen and the instructions on the other half. I went very slowly and carefully read the instructions at each step paying particular attention to the names of the files which are quite long and difficult to remember. Be placid, have a beer or two and try again slowly.
