Hi,
Theoretically the SoC inside supports all PE versions up to PE3.0 but the charger device itself is just a PE+ device. I haven't seen any charger adapter with higher than PE+ standard on the market until now.

This has been happening for a very long time, but I have been very patient since March, but now I'm annoyed. WHY does the camera go DARK when RECORDING a video in apps OTHER THAN THE CAMERA (eg. Snapchat.) This does not happen on any other phones and could be easily fixed if reported as a bug.

I'm really annoyed about all the UMIDIGI bugs that do not get fixed or don't even get a response to, when they are posted on the forums. Users want a bug-free (or close to bug-free) experience on their phone so that they do not get annoyed. At this rate, I am not buying another UMIDIGI phone until the bugs have been checked properly before releasing a phone and phone update.

I also have this problem, is bc of the iso i think. When you open Snapchat, you see a preview of your recording. When you are in a dark room or a place with not a lot of light, the camera will bump up the ISO to a higher number, like 1600. But when it uses a higher ISO, it also lags a lot, it feels like it itsn't responding fast. When you move your phone, there is also a lot of motion blur. But when you are recording, Snapchat doesn't want that your video is lagging and has a lot of motion blur, so it lowers the iso to it's lowest number. But if you are in a room with not enough light, it will look very dark. So when you are outside, there's a lot of (sun) light so it doesn't need to bump up the iso, that's why it doesn't get darker when there's enough light. Hope you understand me.

Sony have a nice one but it is so expensive. It support  Pump Express and Pump Express Plus 2.0 of MediaTek.

Please, when will be release the new update to solve all the bugs and problems?Umi Z is an amazing device with awesome hardware but if the software is not well optimized, the phone will not be running that smooth. So, when will be release the software update to have the Umi Z running smoothly? :S

I think the most people of umi z user wait for the update. I hope when its doen. That the Software push the real power of the phone.

But i think i dont buye another umi phone. They release phones every time but the Software is an horror. The easy waye is the give the source code free. Than we can get stable Roms and updates. I Miss custom kernel and so von

I'm afraid it's not a big deal against the stock UMI charger and not really PE+2.0 or it should support 20V output but it doesn't.

So the SONY charger offers a max 12V/1350mA output while it's 12V/1250mA at the UMI charger, that (in my opinion) is not worth the difference in price. Moreover, the battery won't accept a higher than 12V/1A charging power, you can reach higher amperage inputs only if you charge the battery and run processor-hungry apps in the same time, what is highly not recommended anyway due to the possiblity if overheating.
