That won't be officially released. Sorry. You can use the custom version provided on needrom.

We expect Android Lollipop.

Without this update Umi's after-sales service would be considered really bad...

Edited by grooeygroo at 2015-11-20 03:02 \n\nThere is a Lollipop upgrade from cinafoniaci.com and it's excellent!  No, it's not available through Rootjoy and quite probably never will be, but it's really not hard to install with the SP Flash tool.  You DO need an account with Needrom but it is *totally* worth the effort.

I found my battery life improved dramatically - I'm in a very poor signal area when at work, and previously this killed my battery from 100% to 10% in about 5 hours.  Now it shows 65% after 10 hours and still going well.
The phone is very fast, the recovery mode is very cool, and there's very little to complain about.  It did bork my IMEI numbers but that can be fixed with the engineering mode trick.  The camera is also rubbish, you need to download the Google Camera app, but generally I'm very pleased with the update.

I think the UMI products really well, no complaints are quality and cheap, but there is a lack c is on upgrades, they really takes effort , it would be contrary shame, especially when they make promises

I disagree with you, I like many here, spoiled the screen, sent for warranty repair their response was - in China on display not covered by warranty. I had to buy and repair the phone display. They support and works very badly, I have Ulefone and with him there is no problem at all, and are constantly updated firmware ...
