Just confirming seeing the same Phone Connected / Disconnected all the time on my Garmin Edge 520.

I am wondering if it has something to do with Battery Saving Mode which is behaving quirky for me, to say the least. For starters - only custom mode allows for Bluetooth to be enabled, but it sometimes keeps it in the "off" state and doesn't save the "on" setting. It effectively kills BT when you try to manually enable it on general settings. It's super annoying, but I can't find the exact cause, nor to do the step by step to reproduce the problem as it doesn't always happen.

And still no solution from UMI whatoever. The only thing they say every time is to put the device back to factory settings and try again. Please UMI: that doesn't help. It has also nothing to do with interference or distance from the source. Even when the phone is laying next to the source the problem occurs. I also tried every setting there is to find a solution but nothing helps.  It can't be tough for you to pinpoint this particular problem with your devices. On Android 6 it did worked fine so it must be a software problem.
Please UMI: Can we await an update very very soon to solve this?

Stop waiting. UMi has a very strange business model. They have engineers who spend their time designing new phones that match the latest Gucci handbags and the latest business suits and fashion. UMi bring out a new phone almost every month! Always their phones are extremely stylist.

Now that you ask for them to actually be reliable and function correctly, isn't that a little too much to ask. Like, you got the coolest looking phone going and now you expect to connect to the internet and actually make phones calls? Don't you think you're expecting a little too much?

I couldn't wait any longer. I returned the phone to Amazon, from where I've bought it.

I can imagine that. Apart from the speed and memory, my former 4 year old Samsung Note 2 is way better than this device in al other aspects. I will therefore put this UMI aside and re-use my Note2 again. It is really a pitty that UMI are is not able to solve these problems. It looks like their focus is on producing more different phones instead of solving excisting problems first. Since my daughters UMI Rome X has several issues too I will also advise my friends not to buy an UMI phone. The looks of the phone and the spec's are great. The price is also good looking at the spec's, but besides that, the phones are rubbish. I will save some money to buy a decent Samsung S7 or upcoming S8. I rather spent some more money than have a cheaper phone that frustrates me every day like the UMI does. I'm sorry.

I found another issue that is probably related with this topic. When streaming music through wifi to my receiver the same happens. After 2 minutes the music stops and I have to restart the music manually. This is very annoying especially when you have a house full of kids doing disco. It seems that the phone resets connections every 2 minutes. UMI, you can't tell me that you are not able to solve this immediately and send us a fix. Like I said: back to my old Note2.

Hi
Please check your battery saving modes settings (please switch off)
And check background tasks clear settings too as maybe your music app is switching off.
