Another thing is that Three bought O2 network few months ago and now is as main network provider compare previously was third party network and if you using old sim card your access could be limited. I would advice you to go to Three store or contact to Three support and ask for new shape sim card.

So let's try another option.
Please open dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
You will be transferred to information menu then phone information - top right corner three dots - select radio band and try use aus, etc there is no point trying use USA as this band is not supported.
And let me know what is there any difference.
Also please go to settings - more - mobile networks - network operators - and choose manually only 4G network of course Three network.

Also my phone never goes into deep sleep. It's always waking while screen is off. This is a factory reset already before you suggest. Should I revert to marshmallow?

Please update your phone with SPFT to latest available software from this link

Sometimes when wi-fi is set to on constantly then phone is never going to deep sleep.
So please go to settings - wi-fi - switch on wi-fi - top right three dots - advanced - keep wi-fi on during sleep - only when plugged in or never.
Also please change in advance WiFi - network notifications to off

Between me and you. I bout already network signal Repeater to increase network signal in house as inside was always very weak signal.

Its a software problem! The builds are so unstable. Mine worked great on 4g with the first android 7 firmware from 2017.  I upgraded it to the July 2017 one to try and fix the GPS issue and it fails all the time now.

I love the way it looses signal completely if I reject an incoming call and it sits on an E signal all the time.

Software for the phone is seriously buggy, but Umi don't care. They are only interested in plugging the new s2 phones
