no issue on my Plus about led..

So you say that you have a flashing led every few seconds when receiving messages? If so, please show us and post a video of it.
On my plus the led is flashing once at the moment a message (sms/whatsapp or whatever) is received and no more after that.
I like the led to behave like it does on my Note2. There it flashes every few seconds when a message comes in until I open the message.
That is what it should do.
One flash on arrival of a message is easily missed and thus a function that can be missed.

Like I said in my previous mesage. I found out that a function/option is missing in the Plus with Android 6.
Other phones with a notification led and Android 6 have a function called: 'pulse notifcation led' which can be switched on or off.
When 'on' the led lights up every few seconds when a message arrives and is not read.

So please software developers: fix this for us.

Exactly, as showed in videos posted in the first page of this topic, my led doesn't pulse.
But ther's no option to control that behaviour in the MTK Engineer mode?

I had to quit using K9 mail client that I used under Android 6. I had no LED notification with this alternate mail client. But there was no other e-mail client available under Android 6 by UMI (apart from Gmail which I always disable). Hence the upgrade to Android 7 which has both Gmail and a more "standard" email client. The LED blinks until you clear the notification. There also a blinking notification when you phone auto turns itself on (I use this function).

Yes, it will appear after you have started one by going to Wireless & Networks, Tethering & Portable Hotspot.
Same with Invert Colors for example.
PS : you can also select Edit at the bottom of the notification panel and add or remove whatever you find there.

Problem wirh notification led is fixed indeed in Android 7 but other problems appeared, like connection dropping of bluetooth every 2 to 3 minutes.
