Could the wireless charge be obsolete before it could catch on?

I have not tested the wireless charger for the Z2 Pro, but I did test the Mi Mix 3 and the wireless charging there is awesome. It does not take a lot longer to charge the phone compared to wired charging and it is more convenient. I just put the phone on the bad and that's it. I have it next to the TV (where I usually put the phone when I am at home) so no change in behavior either...well...except I no longer have to plug it in. Will definitely test the wireless charging on the Z2 pro next.
