From experience I can say that UMIDIGI does not support his devices for long.
Devices will be maintained until most bugs are fixed and after about half a year there will be no updates.
That was the case with my UMI Super and UMIDIGI Z Pro.

Please update to Android Pie and fix all the bugs. A custom rom ~ funtouch os or Amigo UI would be nice. I like swipe up quick toggle more than swipe down. Please emulate these ROMs and invest in Camera app.

Well there are a few phone with P60 that will be upgraded to android pie, the new Umidigi F1 will be with P60 and will have android pie also this one https://www.efox.com.pt/telemove ... e-618-pole-g-326770

So there might be hope to see android pie on this one since it is more than capable to support it. Come on Umidigi give us a treat! ^^

I didn't find any real working solution for me so far. android pie works. But not the mobile data connections. To be sure.
What did you flash on your z2 pro? What will work and what won't.

hi everybody,
i tested the new treble AOSP 9.0 from phhusson.
sms, calls (slot 1), 4g works on z2 pro now. Yeah.

but calls (slot 2), volte/voWifi doesent.

i started a issue, maybe if there is enought resonounce/testers we will have a working rom.

It's a pity that they've stopped giving support to this model and that it will never see Android 9, it's a very good terminal.
No security or android updates means terminal no longer of use
Oh well R.I.P. Z2 Pro
