Just received my A1Pro but the SIM-slot won't open, it's moving half a millimeter but that's all.
Do ...

If you already can grab the SIM tray, you can simply pull it out with your fingers.

After Wireless Update (~60MB) in my UMIDIGI A1 Pro phone, the "Wireless Update" change to "com.adops.fota.Application". I search that in Google, they show that " com.adop...." is a Spyware. Is that true? What can I do now? I can't not Update via Wireless Update any more

Probably your phone is already updated. Please check build number in settings - system - about phone - build number. Should be 20180525If your build number is correct you no need more action otherwise please perform factory reset and check for updates.

Adups need communication to OTA servers that why is showing as malware but this is part of system.

It was an issue with the adups fota service 2 years ago but no UMIDIGI phones (not even in that time) were involved. Now this update service is perfectly safe.
You can read ADOPS' statement about that case here: https://www.adups.com/article/show_article.php?id=162

Just got this phone for my wife. It's very nice for the money. Face unlock works well. Fingerprint works well. Battery life is good. The phone doesn't slow down (so far). It wouldn't work for as I'd want a higher resolution screen and OIS on the camera. So far you can't beat it for the money!

Just a couple things.
1) I can not get LTE. Only 4G shows.
2) 4G ALWAYS shows. Even when on wifi. It makes you nervous that you're on data.
3) It can with a eu plug. I'm in Canada.
4) Can't find a flip case. Wife likes them.
5) Wish it had NFC.

Hey for data you should still see 4G but the signal strength next to it should show a wee "x" cross above it when data is off.
As for plug they all shipped with EU plugs and it was stated on most the sites I viewed.  I am in the UK and managed to get a UK type plug from aliexpress for £3.77 ($5.06usd) including delivery.  Just make sure it is 5v 2amp.  Also note if you use a USB extension cable you may not get quick charge times so best to just use supplied cable.
You can also find flip cases for A1 on aliexpress.

That's just one of many.
Hope that helps.

Thank you.
I understood 4G isn't as fast as LTE.
The data on this phone is half the speed of my LG G5. Still adequate. I just wondered

Why would you need an eu plug if it came with one? I realize now that it only ships with that. Would have been nice if there was an option or it was a plug that could handle both.
I don't have the phone with me right now - it was for my wife. The issue  wasn't when  having the data off as it was with both  data and wi-fi turned on. But operating with wifi.

I've seen cases like that. Amazon and eBay sell them too. I wouldn't trust a piece of two sided tape to hold the phone in place. We're used to having an actual case inside the fake leather.

Comments

I didn't say I needed a EU plug, I needed a UK plug. UK is 3pin. That case was just one of many, u could ad superglue to your case that came with phone and stick it down.  Post time 2018-6-7 20:01
