Dear users,

It's a software bug, that I can confirm and already reported to the developers. The reason of the greenish photos is the bad controlling of the flash LEDs. For metering both the white and yellow LEDs are used but when taking the photo, only the yellow LEDs get flashed, resulting greenish photos. Please wait for the next update. Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for fowarding the information to developers, it seems here some moderators dont care most of the time. Do you know something about the Os? would it be change? or update? umios is the biggest flaw of the s2 pro. The phone is actually pretty good beside that, it practically ruined the phone.

The UMI OS can't be changed but it's being optimized. You also can choose the Basic Edition for a near to stock android experience.

hello bencebacsi...
you seem to be more user friendly :-) ... i cannot obtain so far any reply to the problem of the camera bokeh/portrait mode.... which so far is visibly obtained only by some software effect, but not even close to a real software calculated bokeh/portrait effect like
e.g. on XIAOMI MI A1. even though the hardware would allow to implement such software taking into consideration the cameras 16 + 5 MP given that hardware as per info from Mediatek allows the use of up to 16 + 16 MP camera lenses. in the other topic i started
about bokeh effect real or fake, i have  explained extensively what real bokeh/portrait mode looks like including links to 2 companies specialized in supplying corresponding software, COREPHOTONICS and ARCSOFT, both including also image treatment for low light
conditions and zoom photos.
is there any way to have the developers of the UMIDIGI S2 PRO improving the stock camera app and include such software which would enable REAL bokeh/portrait mode?
thanks in advance for your highly appreciated feedback.

Hi,
''is there any way to have the developers of the UMIDIGI S2 PRO improving the stock camera app and include such software which would enable REAL bokeh/portrait mode?''
I'm afraid that's impossible what you request. A real bokeh effect needs high focal length (above 80mm) lens, anything else is just a fake effect based on edge detection (professional method) or just simply highlighting a circle in a specific area. If a solution of a carrier is better than the one of another one, it doesn't mean that, not all of them are lying about the technology used in the background.
As far as I know, the developers are trying to improve the quality of the bokeh effect.
