The bluetooth is horrible...

\n\ni will never buy a umidigi phone againnot bonly bluetooth is bad but , it is a scam the second camera is a fake one , the so called bokeh effect is generated by software.
you can not even install another launcher,and the umi laucher is ugly ,sucks, and full of laggs.
very dissapointing phone for $300.
i did buy myself a vernee mix 2 on presale for $99 with 4 gig ram and it is much faster as the s2 pro that costs 3 times more !!!!
Unfortunatly the soundlevel and quality of the vernee was way to low and also had also a fake 2nd camera like the s2 pro and sold it with a profit
on max volume the S2 pro is also distorting buy the way !!

It works fine with my Bluetooth Creative Outlier Sports so far. Takes a few seconds before music starts playing, but range is on par or better than with my Nexus 6P.

We also don't have Bluetooth issues on our testing devices

I'm in the exact same case! Received the S2 Pro yesterday and tried to sync my Samsung Gear S3 but it never connect to it! I'm soooooo disappointed! Please do something to allow us to use the phone properly!!!!

On my Creative Outlier Sport headset I have to actively make it search for bluetooth devices by long-pressing the power button. Perhaps something similar with Samsung Gear?

But do that like a normal customer you will realise the problem

Not only the S2 Pro has bluettoth issue, I have read multiple forums saying that Umi's bluetooth is bad.

This is a generic comment, I am pretty sure they do not happen coincidently.

try any normal priced wireless earbuds, play some music (not in your studio/office/lab of course) go out to walk
there are interferences outside the studio/office/lab which causes the drop and lag.

And this is normal, but other phones do not experience the same lags / drops, Umi's one is significantly worse.

If you perform a test like this, and you still want to tell me your bluetooth is fine, you are just potentially turning down a bunge of customers.

No there is no need to tell the Samsung S3 Gear to actively make it search for bluetooth device. Just watch this video you will understand the issue:
