I think the gps.conf has only the chinese satelites listed. Without rooting i see no solution to fix that problem. Maybe it is a simple thing for umi to solve that problem....

...we will see.

I dont want to root my phone. I just want a promised function working well.

Its a dream with Umidigi. They Always want to make money. I dont think they work on develepment of our umi z pro. They prefer make a umi os lol for the other buyers. My umi z never work fine. On MM problem with camera etc...Update to a nice nougat lol, problem with blutooth, GPS, Camera worth... vera bad.
I never buye again a umidigi phone. Xiaomi are honest !

thks Ben, never response us, i ask him why umidigi dont want to give us source code, in fact a real developper could give us custom rom for a functionnal phone.
But nerver response.

A chance umidigi is in china, we cant do anything, and their laughthing coolest in are bar campany.

Yes Umi sucks. They are not interested in old customers. So i will buy a Xiaomi too. Their phones work fine.

Most of the users facing the problem ..while giving add ..feature are extreme .. Coming to performance .very poor ..for all things ..
It was less than a basic mobile ..so worthless for money spent .. ..
