I would say if your laptop is not detecting your hotspot then the problem is not your phone or lap ...

Not possible mate.


It was working perfectly before the Nougat update.


Tried connnecting through many devices. They are not detecting the hotspot created by my Umidigi Z Pro.

This thread is about the V7.01_20170605 Android 7.1.1 ROM for UMIDIGI Z Pro. I remove only definitely and only off-topic and/or hater posts, that do not contain error reports or at least constructive criticism.

I cannot reproduce your issue, wifi hotspot works perfectly with this ROM. Try to create a 2.4GHz hotspot if you worked with 5GHz until now. If your issue still persists, flash this ROM with SP Flash Tool.

Maybe oneday can 3 restart

The devs are working on the update continually. It will be released as soon as it's finished, probably in a few days. Please be patient until.

Please flash this version with SP flash Tool in firmware upgrade mode, then do not restore any saved app/system data but setup your phone as a new device. Backup and restore only your personal data: media files, documents etc.

I wish more people would take this advice. It's a lot easier than typing complaints for weeks about how shit your phone is.

The first mtk smartphone with two cameras and blablabla ... I only know that I have a phone that is reset several times a day, that has problems with the 4g and a double camera penalty, UMIDIGI correct some faults so it has to be YA !! ! That fails the rest is worth but that there is problem with the networks and you are worth, very very bad.
