Hi
I can't find Ben explanation about this issue but if I correctly remember he mentioned that the new ringtone needs to be added to internal storage ringtones folder.

I always save in the ringtones folder of the internal storage and even then, when I reboot, it changes the ringtone to one of the device's standards.

Is this start happening after version updates?  The default media storage app doesn't open a file browser but only a list of available ringtones without the file paths. You should use a file browser to brows for the ringtones stored in the internal memory.

Already happened in previous versions.
As saved mp3 file in the Ringtones folder, it appears in the list of standard ringtones.
I have already selected the file both from the default list and from a file explorer.
Take a test: place an mp3 file as your phone's ringtone. Reboot your device and you will see that the ringtone has been modified by one of the system defaults.

Hi
I was thinking about and asked umi engineers and they tested this case for me too and they doesn't have this issues.
Could you please remove sd card from your device, reboot phone, then set your own ringtone and try reboot again?

When I removed the sdcard, I was able to fix my mp3 ringtone.
However, when I reinserted, the touch was reconfigured to the system default, even the file being in internal storage.
It seems that when it restarts, something causes it to point to the sdcard.
