Where the module is GPS? In the characteristics there is specified clearly that takes GPS! Where is it? Does deceitful advertising ó defraud?

Hi Pulsar_Star,

Deep breathes, stay calm... no need for the accusations and red text in your first post to the community.

GPS is definitely on the UMI Iron. In fact, I used it yesterday to test it out and it connected quickly and was quite accurate. Have you turned your GPS (locations) on in the quick settings menu? Otherwise, I'll need more information to work out what you need.

Gruffles.

As Gruffles said you just have to activate the "Location" to activate GPS feature. It's not a UMI's choice, it's Android.

O.K. These drawbacks are avoided with manual instructions not it? Indeed, in no time I'm angry or irritated just upset! By chance there will be an online manual on Umi Iron?

Best Regards!

Then you did not know understand that you first activate the GPS. On the home screen, if you slide your finger from top to bottom you will see an icon with a line that crosses puts Location, if you press the GPS is activated. You can also do it in Settings --- Location --- Top right slides to the right so that the button turns ON. Then already you have enabled GPS. But do not look for a GPS like TomTom or Sygic. That does not bring, I have to buy you.

jandrivirix - OK I still think that sending a manual with the device would be ideal, many problems would be avoided!

Hi Pulsar_star,
The problem with providing a manual is that it would be incorrect as soon as a rom update came along. As Google change their own OS, manufacturers would have to rewrite the manual. Most people will be learning through discovery or by asking questions online.

I've tested my GPS (with Wifi switched off). It won't find my location (I've tried switching on Location mode with "device only" as well as other options). Anyone else getting this?

Using "Here" satnav app

DO you have used a GPS Test app like "GPS Test" to check if there is a Fix.
Otherwise there is Ygps in all mediatek phones to check it without app install.
