Update problem

Just received the Umi Iron yesterday and really pleased with it so far. There's just one problem, when I try to update the system software to version 1.4 I get the error message 'SD card error. Please check the card and try again.' Does anyone know why that is? Do I need to have an SD card inserted before I can update? Really liking the phone so far so any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes I had to use a SD card to do my update to 1.5.Check this post :
