This is the SP Flash Tool test version of v1.7 firmware for UMI Iron.
This release is not the final version. Use it at your own risk!

Changelog:
1.Add gesture control features  
2.Rebooting at high volumes --- problem solved
3.transfer to front camera when lie down, camera will stuck and then close---problem solved
4.Add sliding awaken



The HotKnot feature is still not active.

Is it planned to push this update wia OTA?
I don't want to wipe my phone if it isn't the only option.

I hope UMI continuous software improvements with UMI IRON ... I would not like that with the release of new UMI IRON PRO, developments of UMI IRON being abandoned...

I would be happy if the camera works full,and  transfer  USB port be perfect.

Why to risk to lock the IRON???? Wait the official one release!

It is terrible news to hear that there are no improvements in this update.
It is best to try to recoup some of the investment in this can.

I'm more curious if this update will solved the clicking sound when we plug in the headphone. Can I know about the full detail about this update?

\n\nI am now using the beta firmware...

first problem,i couldnt install it in normal way, i could install it by opening and removing the battery...

About firmware;

+Battery life has improved.its now like flyos...Can use the phone for a day,with 1.6 it lasted half day...
+phone is fluently and fast
-usb speed is slow - transfered a divx and 700kb/s so it was slower than my internet!!!(i was that when i installed firmware with spflash the speed was 22mb/s so the problem is the rom not the phone...)
-Sound quality is bad, i dont understand people well that i talk to...it was wonderful at Flyos
+usb transfer mode works
-camera is the same, at daylight its very good, but a little dark place it has a lot noise and grain...-wifi signal is ok but wifi speed is low than flyme os...

If the usb transfer mode doesnt improve at 1.7 official and the sound quality is not good, i will sell the phone, because i cant waste time with bad firmwares...I hope developers take this problem serious...Or if not, please pay some people from needrom to do a custom rom...

Ps: i never had such problems with my old zopo 980h, its also chinese phone...

Thanks to bencebacsi and UMI for this good news.
We don't know if they fixed the USB issue and the Flash delay issue?
Maybe I will try to install this ROM this evening but if someone can test it before it will be more interesting D

I am curious about this update too, but won't be intalling it today. I have a very important event at my work and need the phone to be functioning. Can't risk it to be dead after an update))) I guess, I'll give it a try in two or three days later

I just hope they fixed many audio issues, especially left-right channels swap. If this is done, than the phone is perfect to me)
