This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

V3.05_20170706 firmware

for UMI Rome X

Flash Tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

WARNING!

SP Flash Tool is not for updating your phone but for repairing its software if needed. You get all available and needed updates via OTA. This release here should be compatible with all hardware releases of UMi Rome X. However, if your phone has currently a different ROM version (not V3.05) installed, this ROM still might be incompatible.

This one is an MP (mass production) version for fatory use (to support a new LCD type) and won't be available via FOTA update, you can flash it only with SP Flash Tool.

If you are updating an earlier version, it is recommended to flash this ROM as 'Firmware Upgrade'!

ROM: UMi_Rome_X_V3.05_20170706.rar

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6580_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements.

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1716.rar

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

I thought that

New LCD supported

means it will work on older phones, but i tried to flash it and it doesnt for me.

Im buy the phone in october 2016 ,and hes v3.05 2016.08.16 firmware . Question : this v3.05 is compatible ? Right ?

\n\nHey guys, I need help. I have installed this ROM to my Umi Rome X by using SP Flash Tool. I manage to start the phone on and it is working but my screen is displaying only black, green or red stripes (depending on the screen it should display).

Here is the picture of the display. Can it be that flashing ROM damaged display and i need to replace it or i just need different ROM?
