I have just calculated with different charger the charging speed for the Umi Z PRO:

8% for every 10 minutes,
Which represents a full charge in 2h07 (within 1 or 2 mn) with the original charger.

I used other chargers (with an input of 0.35A and 0.25A) and I go below 8%. I will look if I find chargers with an input to more than 0.5A

Assuming that the phone holds 24 hours with light usage (3 calls of 3mn, 10 sms, internet for 10mn), it can be assumed that 8% charge represents 1h50 of battery.

According to my tests, since the 7.1.1 update, I consume much less battery and I should be able to go up to more than 2 hours with a load of 8% (to test)

When I talked about the lack of fast charge, I forgot that I had a battery of 3780 mah, it makes a big difference, 780 mah between 2 phones.

My LG G4 charged in 2h for a battery of 3000 mah but held only 30h maximum in light use. And in high use, a maximum of 5h. With the Z PRO, in strong use, I can overcome this barrier of 5 hours (I will have to do a full test in high use when I really have free time)

I tested my as I noticed it needs a long time to charge. Bassicaly from 9% to 100% needed more than one full day.

Did you encounter problem like this. If yes please advise.

First time I can hear such complaints.
Umidigi Z Pro never face such issues.
Please check your USB cable, check USB port for former objects, and swap charger.

I heard that fast charging only works when the device is switched off.
Whether that's true I have not tried.

Unfortunately no. Not at all work

Open calling dialler and type in *#*#33#*#* then single test - battery and check charging voltage when charged is plugged in to phone. At fast charging should be around 12V. Of course at start will be 5V.
Also you can install 3c battery widget and monitoring charging current.

I don't see in the single test what kind of voltage on the charge! This test don't write this data.

Screenshot is from 3c battery widget.
Open calling dialler and type in *#*#33#*#* - single test - battery - battery  voltage

Start at 5V, but some second after jump up ca. 12-12,5V. If this is the fast charging, how long perc ...

To protect battery fast charging is not working or is reduced at low and high (from around 80%) battery level.
From around 1% to 100% should take around 2H up to 2,5H.
Also charging current is reduced to 0.78A to protect battery.
Pump express is working on MTK devices and is allowing to charge at 5/7/9/12 volts with 1.65/1.65/1.65.1.25 A. Of course this is maximum current flow.
