... and how do we have to wait this time?

Honestly I won´t be an Umdigi device in the future; the after sales services are below everything;
That´s what makes the difference between those companies: SERVICE

Dear Users,
This random reboot issue affects only a few devices but the devs are aware of it and an update is in progress. The wireless OTA update has been cancelled already until the new update will be released. Please wait for the next update.

Had similar issues after the OTA yesterday. Phone still reboots randomly, sometimes there are some noises coming out of the spearker and then it looks dead (black screen) nothing happens and i need to force a reboot.

So far noone seems to have fixed it by factory reset, so I am waiting for at least a few reports that the factory reset actually solved the problem for anyone....

Regretfully, I join the group of dissatisfied customers of Z pro.

I bought the phone on TOMTOP and  ...

Try to lower your volume settings. Worked for me on the 6.0 ROM on 7.1.1 no problem.

Hi there,

I can also confirm this issue. Got my UMI Z Pro three weeks ago and monitored approx. 4 random reboots a day at normal use. After initially setting up my device, I upgraded to Android 7.1.1 via the available OTA upgrade. Therefore I can't tell whether it's just an 7.1.1 OS bug or a more serious hardware issue. Besides the above-mentioned, my phone is functioning normally.

I really would appreciate an Admin statement, indicating their awareness regarding this problem, which in my case, is not related to the SIM card, as I read somewhere else on this forum in another thread.

Thanks!

If you've received the latest ROM via OTA, there is still the chance that flashing the ROM can work.. It basically sets the phone to "clean" condition.

I did the upgrade to V7.01_20170605_20170605-1620 but the problem still the same. my phone continues to reboot.
