Slim Port for TV connection

for connecting to the HDMI port in the TV , would a SlimPort device work , or need MHL ?

or, for wireless connection​, anybody tried Miracast / Chromecast dongles ?

Hi there...

This is a good question... i bought a 'usb-c' to 'hdmi' converter, expecting to work. But to my surprise a cutting edge hardware does not support this.

it is there anyone to confirm ?

The only thing to transmit to a TV is buying a chromecast, this phone dont supporte MHL or usb to hdmi

.. you were expecting too much !
indeed I did not expect our usb-C to be enabled and work as a mini-HDMI (meaning we do not have a video-out signal integrated in our usb-C), but I was hoping that an MHL dongle (same as for old Samsungs S.x) or a Slimport dongle (as for LG , I think)  could do the job !


obviously, talking here for those who want a wired-connection with their big screen /TV ..

..really, you tried an MHL dongle and no show ? so we cannot have any kind of wired-connection to a big screen ?

MHL is a old system, the new phones dont support that technology. The only thing to resolve that is a google chrome cast
