keep losing contacts after android 7 update

hi, can anyone help ? updated to nougat a month or so ago, all seemed fine until i lost all of my contacts, messed about with a few things & they appeared again, unfortunately this fix only lasted a couple of days, & this is how it's gone now for the last few weeks, get them back, then they dissapear again, iv'e done everything including a factory reset, whatever i do it only lasts a day or two at most, been on all of the android forums looking for answers, i am now out of ideas, so if anyone can help i'd be exremely grateful, my phone is a umi super

But your contacts disappeared from phone or sim card memory?
I suspecting phone virus.
Please flash whole system with SPFT.

well they are saved to my sim, but when i'm having these problems there is no contacts showing anywhere on my phone, but when they appear again they are all there

So maybe copy all contacts to phone memory.
If still not working you need flash whole ROM.
