Usb Type C , Too longer plug

I've bought several on-line and tried all the local phone shops for cables that were supposed to fit but didn't and I still think it only reasonable that umidigi make the non-standard cables available to buyas a spar for ythe office or ibn case of accidental damage to or loss ofthe cable supplied why would they NOT do so????

Prior to seeing this, I had submitted my own post. The "C" plug is too short and has to be pushed hard, fully home to make any contact. Due to this, if the plug shifts/moves (as they all tend to do somewhat) then it disconnects,and stops charhing

Just tried it WITHOUT case and it plugs in securely with a click and holds perfectly. Case obviously obstructs doh !

thanks but I did manage to track down a correct cable for it and it worked for several months before starting to go straight to a shutting down screen every time I turned it on and now it's stone dead and I can find absolutely no way of resuscitating it, so I'm sure you will understand I'm unlikely to be recommending itto a lot of people anymore

sorry, but I still think that if they choose to use a non-standard charger cable fitting they should make it clear where one can get a spare as most people will need one at home and a second for a different location (like their workplace or car) it's reallnot asking very miuch of them and it was hugely frustrating thsat they seemed completely uninterested in this basic customer support query  but now it has died already anyway

Bunch of USB cables was and still is available at Aliexpress and other online resellers, also at Aliexpress you could buy genuine cables with chargers.  Your cable probably caused some short and damaged motherboard or other internal components. This is nothing to manufacturing defects.
