Hi reyan,

Yes, the UMi MAX supports PE fast charging with the same charging speed as the UMi Super. So, you may buy a PE charger without hesitation.

Since my Umi MAX is on its way too with the regular charger, where i can buy a Umi Super battery charger? If not possible,  could you advise me a compatible model with fast charger?
Regards, Ronny.

Hi,

You can buy the original UMi PE charger for the lowest price here: https://goo.gl/ihr1Tx
An even cheaper solution might be the ROCK Quick Charge 2.0 here: https://goo.gl/FTa34z
I'll be able to test it in 1 or 2 weeks.

I for one will be very surprised if a UMI customer receives a standard but not the quick charger.

A standard charger to me is a charger with a fixed 5VDC suitable for all USB devices.  The one needed for UMI Super will have to be around 2A capacity as in use the phone could drain 0.4A or 400mA continuously.  Therefore in a regular use the 4000mAh battery can only last about 10 hours.

The factory supplies a quick charger has stamped information of :
Input 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz 0.5A max - that means it can be plugged to any AC socket in this planet.
Output 5/7/9 1.67A  12V 1.25A

Thus the factory charger could deliver 1.25A at 12V or 1.67A at either 9, 7 or 5V.  The variable voltage can full charge the battery in about an hour whereas a fixed 5V voltage will take 3 to 4 hours.

I have also a new Vernee Apollo Lite with nearly identical spec as UMI Super but it quick charger delivers 2A at 5/7/9V and 1.5A at 12V.  It takes about the same time to charge up its 3180mAh battery.

Hi
I have 2A at  5/7/9V and 1.5A at 12V USB type B charger for Ulefone Power and this charge mamut battery 6000 mah in 2 hours. I never try this charger for my umi super in case something happen to the phone. My umi super from 0 to 100% charge in 1H 40 minutes  up to maximum 2H so there is no need testing other chargers. I think umi used small bit slower charger to decrease temperature of charging to save battery. Probably nothing will happen with the phone if I try this charger as ulefone and umi is using same battery brand Sony and umi super have aluminium body which reduce temperature of charging. But there is no need trying by my opinion.

Guys don't forget that charger is just tool for supplying current and voltage to phone and everything else as the charging current is judged by the software. So we can't say that stronger charger will charge quicker. Saikee compared Vernee Apollo Lite with 3180mAh battery with stronger charger to umi super but I have exactly same charger for Ulefone Power with huge 6000 mah battery and this charger is faster but as I said in previous post charger is not everything because software is judging  current flow. So I presume that Vernee Apollo Lite could charge in 1h and 15 minutes but due to software issue or due to safety reason charger is slowing down charging. Don't forget that at start umi super has software issue in charging side which was causing increased time to fully charge and with some update this was fixed. Another example  Last month I was using elephone p9000 with 3000 mah battery and with exactly the same charger as umi super and this battery is charged in 70 minutes ( 1h and 10 minutes ).
