Hi

Any body has any idea if I change phone model name to some other model like Samsung s7 or any other volte supported phone model  by editing build.prop  will it be helpful for getting volte feature active.

I have to gather information like this and experiment because UMI not bothered to support customers.

Not getting any reply from administrator or developer team

Very very disappointed

Can any body help

I'm from India, using Umi Plus with Reliance Jio.

1. The phone doesn't support Vo-LTE. (The official website info is a typo/error as confirmed to me by UMI official). All bands are fine as Airtel 4G works fine.
2. You need to use Jio4gVoice app to make calls or SMS.
3. The app is very buggy. You'll often find the app giving various network errors.
4. After Nougat update, I often get a notification "VirtualSim01ON" & then the cellular network stops working. I have to restart the device several times to make it work.

I am from Hyderabad and I have a UMI PLUS. The problem that I am facing is that I am unable to use airtel data even after changing apn. There is no problem with the sim. It works fine when placed in any other 4g phone. There is some problem which I am unable to identify due to which I am not able to use airtel data connection in my UMI PLUS. So it could be very useful if you can help me out with this issue.

If this network provider is third party please activate data roaming (settings - more - mobile networks - data roaming)

Sir, it doesn't help, the customer care executive are saying the device is not 4g. I think band 40 isn't available for this phone.
Please help us i have wasted money twice for data

in short does it mean that if in india, if we want to use JIO VOLTE, it wont be available out of box to use?? then would request umidigi engineers to have a model if Z1 for india, which  works with indian bands......

Umi super supporting only this bands
