Reading the specs of the 2 Umi devices on the official Umi Website we can see that the Hardware is exactly the same: Cpu, Camera, Screen, ....., there is just less Ram.
Umi, could you please let us know How you've solved GPS, Camera .... issues on the new Max?
Is there any software difference?

Differences from Umi Super:
Cpu MT6755M at 1,8Ghz (Super has it at 2Ghz)
less 1Gb of ram
less 16Gb of internal memory
Seems that battery don't have PE3 quick charge.. to clarify
The two models are perfectly compatible (all accessories as well). You can flash a Super with MAX ROM and all functions will work. The PE quick charge is also supported by the MAX (checked) but you have to buy a PE charger separately.
The camera is somewhat improved (more detailed photos) but anyway it's the same Panasonic sensor. You can compare the results by installing the MAX ROM on your Super at your own risk. The reported GPS issues are not general and not caused by the software.
Many Thanks for the answer, I think we have to wait the first Max review.... and then decide on how to proceed. I'm sorry but, looking at previous model, I'm not very optimistic. But if the Max will work we ALL must know what they have change, hardware or software. ...
