Notification from LED useless

Dear UMI,i've bought your UMI Emax Mini but notification LED is very useless! LED don't blink after miss call, miss SMS or Whatsapp / Telegram.


Can you fix this issue, i would not recommend this phone to my friends until he gets this problem.

Same issue here... useless "notification" led and too much light at night while charging.
Useless, pointless, no sense.
Seriously Umi, this is my last try.
I am waiting till I can for a Cyanogen official rom to fix all the stupid stuff between this useless led and the android F°#ck&%g lollipop behaviour.
If it's not coming, bye bye umi.

i agree with kajapezz .. please give us a firmware update to unlock the possibility to use the notification led not only during charge, but also during app notification requests !

I actually got an even better and cheaper solution..  turn the device upside down. ;)

I treed to disable the led when phone is charging (it illuminate all my bed during the night), but the led still on

The firmware of eMAX mini is developed by TCL and they're working on an update but that's not directly controlled by UMI. Because the incompatibility caused by the Snapdragon processor, updates for eMAX mini won't be available in Rootjoy in the near future. Updates will be provided here in the forum.

I'm not sure about the charging signal light. I've never had a phone with the possibility of turning off the charging LED signal. That's simply a design flaw if that LED is too bright. Maybe a piece of tape applied on the right place can solve that problem. Ok, a bad joke I know.
