Custom Recovery and XPosed FrameWork

Hi

Will we have a Custom Recovery for the Umi Hammer S? Because I really want to install XPosed Framework.
I know the phone is new, but I know there are some phones that can't have Custom Recovery.

Does anybody have any information about that? Or CM 12.1 for Umi Hammer S?

Hi yoshipartout,

Custom recoveries are (almost) always created by outsiders, so you should look around at needrom.com and forum.xda-developers.com. What you can expect from UMI is a Rootjoy recovery only. That's better than a stock recovery but very poor compared to a twrp solution.
I ask UMI employees about a CM firmware version (CM11 is promised on website) but no news yet about that.

simple instruction to install xposed framework:
1.install flashfire beta (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ ... /flashfire-t3075433)
2.install xposed installer 3.0 apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811)
3. download  xposed-v75-sdk22-arm.zip and put in sdcard root or somewhere you recognize
4. open flashfire, make a backup to be safe. it will take long time to load just be patient
5. flashfire, click the + button, OTA or Zip, select xposed-v75-sdk22-arm.zip
6. click the lightning icon or "Flash"
7. Just be patient and wait a long time. after more than 10minutes, it will reboot and you have successfully installed xposed framework

customizing stock rom:
8. Install GravityBox[LP] to customize stock rom
9. Install Flat Style Indicator to customize statusbar icon (gravity box will not respond)
10. Install Flat Style Colored Bar + Tinted Translucent Status Bar (make sure Translucent Decor = Enable in GravityBox)
11.open up tinted translucent status bar, select an app > All > tick Enable TTSB for status bar, Default layout Option: Set default automatic options.

make sure all xposed module are enabled, and rebooted beforehand.
All of these are tested on umi hammer s. it works
