I recommend you to use Facebook Lite instead.

It is not problem only with facebook. When it restart my phone it is something like optimizing android 1 of 1 and it takes 10 minutes to restart. Always.

I would recommend even just to use the browser, Facebook is an unjustifiably heavy application and uses a lot of smartphone resources, I just go to Facebook through the browser and Facebook application does not use at all.

Devices running Android 7.1 or older versions won't be restricted due to lack of GMS certification, so you don't have to worry about it.

I had this problem. Uninstall "Zedge" application et everything go back to normal
