No settings I can find solve this problem, nor does a factory data reset. The rear camera does not focus further than about .5 meter. The front camera works fine; the image is significantly improved in the front camera shot.
3rd party apps do not help as far as I can tell. Any other solutions?
Just touch screen in the place where you want to focus.
Also please check for latest update (settings - about phone - wireless update - check for updates)
Do not HIT your phone.RAIDEONs advice is incorrect and may lead to you totally breaking your device.I would start with the obvious...dirty camera glass,so give it a gentle clean with a soft cloth.failing that,I would say its a software issue,as is well documented that Umi's cameras have software issues.
No rickie that leads almost to the solution. Better would be to open the case because the glas touches the camera so the focus cant move foward. Then put a little cushion bewteen the camera and the glas. I think it will work properly.
