WiFi switches OFF

Dear all,


I have the UMI-Z. UMIDIGI Z.V3.02_20170411. Serenumber 20170105013670
Android 6.0
Core system:  3.18.22
The WiFi is never ON when I login on the phone. When I switch it ON manually in "Settings" it finds the correct WiFi network and establishes a connection, buat after about 30 seconds it switched the WiFi OFF. Please, help. It is annoying.

Please go to settings - battery saving mode - battery profiles - my mode or deactivate battery saving mode.

Is your wi-fi deactivating it self during using or in sleep mode? How many devices you have connected to router?
Did you experience same issues before update?
There is already new update and also beta version of Android 7.0

The UMI-Z does never come ON with the WiFi active. I switch the WiFi ON manually in settings. The UMI-Z switches the WiFi OFF after about 30 seconds unless I manage to use the WiFi connection immediately after having switched it ON. I have deactivated all "power savings" of the apps, but it did not change the behaviour of the WiFi. If I manage to use the WiFi connection immediately to for example download news, it completes the download and switches OFF about 30 seconds later.


When I switch the WiFi ON the telephone responds with the message :  "Battery profiles changed. You have to change the WLAN state, do you want to change the battery profiles" I have to reply "OK" else the WiFi does not come ON.


I did not have the problem with the WiFi before the 2017-04-11 update was installed.


I have in the order of 5 users of my router. I have no difficulties locking on to the router once I have switched WiFi ON.


My question was really meant to be when the next OTA update will be available .


It is really annoying that I can't use the WiFi connection.


Please, be honest and tell me whether the UMI-Z is a bad choice. I understand the delivery was delayed due to problems in the manufacturing process.
