Hello,

I have my Z Pro since 2 days and I was very satisfied.  2 days and 2 nights of configuration and the last thing I wanted to do was to remove the Google bar on the home screen.  No other way found than to install the launcher Apex.  No problem with Apex to remove the Google bar.  But at the first reboot, my Z Pro is unusable.  Unpossible to unlock it.  I do not know if Apex is guilty or if it is a coincidence but the only thing I can do now is to make a factory reset.

I have tried the combination of volume up and on/off buttons, choosen the recovery mode, but I received at the end an Android lying, belly opened, with the message "No command".  I have tried the combination of the volume down and start buttons but there, the menu doesn't offer me any interesting option for my needs.

Can somebody help me to make a factory reset ?

Thank you in advance,

Jean-Michel.

At the dead Android, hold POWER button, then tap volume UP to get to the recovery menu.

Edited by Eabani at 2017-4-22 16:21 \n\nOooooh yesss!  Thank you very much, chooks06, for a so quick and excellent reply.  All works like the first day.  It seems that Apex give problems... .  I am so relieved, thank you again.  Have a good day.

After a new try with Nova, I have exactly the same problem than with Apex.  I think thus that the launchers are not the problem but the fact that I have removed the Google bar from the home screen.  Thank you Google!!!!!

Thank you for the info, Knuti.  Thanks to you, I went further and discovered that my problems didn't came from the Google bar but from the fact that I choose 1X from the launcher and not "ever".  Now, both Apex and Nova work correctly.
