Android 7 Nougat update - SOLVED

can the update to Nougat for the Z Pro be done over WiFi? Or only by OTA? Does the Nougat update include Google assistant? I'm waiting for my Z Pro to be shipped to me and am just preparing for when I get it. Thanks in advance.

I'd rather have a stable OS without bugs.

you have many questions that no one knows, as there is no Nougats yet.
I am sure it will be OTA like all other phones, I am sure it will include the Google assistant.

Be patient young man, your phone will be with you soon and you can answer many of your own great questions

The updates should be FOTA which requires internet connection. Using Wi-Fi would reduce data usage.
You may want to visit the "ROM" section to see how it can be done manually. Read their recommendations regarding the manual option.

so guys, anyone, and i mean ANYONE have an idea WHEN will we get the nougat update? I am also still waiting for my phone to come but I am eager to know

Same here chooks06, a stable OS is paramount. I'm going to assume that the OS version that comes loaded on the device is stable. Or at least stable enough to get it up and running.
