I have my UMI Plus like a 2 months, and today he start to have a problem on the screen, i press the power button, and the screen dont show me image, only the background light, i hear the clicks the sounds, notifications, but the screen stay like i sayed, i already tryed to reset with SP_Flash_Tool, and still the same... What can i do...?
... hmm one week ago we faced the same problem with my girlfriends phone.
It's an hardware problem - flashing/reflashing did not change anything.
Screen works for a couple of seconds in 1 of 50 restarts and sometimes shows an distorted picture of the started android or fastboot settings.
We bought our device via amazon / DE and since a week trying to get in contact with the seller (UMIDIGI)...
And the problem is like u say, exactly the same... Sometimes on reboot work, other times dont work, and the phone only have 2 months with 0 damage on him.... Idk what i will do, i am from Portugal and its a kind stupid i send my phone to China and will stay without him 2 months or more... Bah!!!
YOUR AND UMI PLUS "E"? The one with the same problem is only that during the handling the display dims gradually and it is like his screen everything turns black.
So guys I can advice you to ask seller for partially refund and for this money you can repair your phone your self or buy part from here and ask phone repairing shop /service for repair.
