UMI Touch changes display settings

Everytime I start my phone, the display has changed from 5 minutes of inactivity tp 15 seconds.
Is there any way to make these settings permanent, or is this a fault with the phone?
It is very inconvenient when everytime the phone boots up and I receive a call or text message, I have to first race to change the settings before I can accept either.

I'll be interested to see if somebody can suggest a cure. Never heard of this happening with a phone; if it was a computer I'd say your motherboard CMOS battery is flat and not allowing the BIOS to hold the settings.

Hello again.  I am dismayed that no-one has been able to suggest a solution for this seemingly minor issue.  I have not been able to cure this malady that affects my otherwise fantastic phone.  I will continue my Google searches, and hopefully I will be able to contact someone who can shed light on this for me.

I think that you have battery saving mode activate which causing self changing battery profile depending battery charge level. Please go to settings - battery saving mode - battery profiles - my mode. And battery saver and schedule profile switch off.
Also you can perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)

I just checked, I have all the settings off for battery saving mode.  I have no idea what is going on here.  I took some screen shots to verify what I am saying re. the battery.  Can pictures be uploaded to here?

Don't worry about this one any more.  I smashed the phone and bought an UMIDIGI S2 Pro.  At least this phone knows how to keep settings.
