UMI Z 4G LTE

Can anyone tell me if this phone will get 4G in North America? I ordered one and I hope that it will. I have the super and I love it but only get 3G

Yeah I did a little reasearch after posting and it looks like i'll be stuck on 3G oh well should still be a nice phone.

I just ordered this phone also I'm in canada, looks like one of my LTE bands will be available... will there be an option to unlock other bands? or is it a hardware limitation? If it hardware UMI should really look at pushing for more network support... I have about 6 friends interested in this phone once I get it, but with the lack of LTE could prevent them from getting it.. All I'm saying is I know its only 6 people but when 6 people start to multiply it can change to thousands...

This what I know this is nothing to do with software only hardware can't handle other frequencies/bands.

have you tried MTK engineer?

nope not even sure what it is. I am willing to give it a try once I get the umi z. then the super will be more of a toy for trial and error.
