New UMI Super keeps rebooting and now stuck on reboot screen

Title says it all. This Umi Super is my third Umi phone.

So dissapointed after spending hours configuring it perfectly and seeing it work so well that it now reboots every couple of hours and now is stuck on the Android reboot screen.

Can someone please help and advise on anything I can do to get this phone working otherwise its unfortunately going to have to be returned to Amazon.

That's the normal. The problem is when an umi phone works perfect without problems.
Get your money back. Umi "Super" has a lot of problems.

24 hours and no reboot.



Surely UMI will make FOTA for Android 7 available for all Super users whatever their version when it is available

Sadly, I guess the only solution is to flash latest ROM with the SPFT tool.

Please use SPFT to flash system and make sure you changed from download to firmware upgrade on SPFT option.

Definitely will not start rebooting it self no more. But with your software you will not get FOTA update for Android 7.0. If you want get Android 7.0 FOTA you needs to be on latest firmware.

Same here. I updated the Super to 20161017 and the problem is gone (12 hours)

random reboot and then gettign stuck on android screen problem on Super  ==> solved by updating to 20161017 using FOTA.
