Unable to update even after downloading the update.

I have recieved android 7 feta update but after downloading when I click on install now it will show unzipping and then shows rebooting continuously but nothing happens even after waiting for 2 to 3 hours then if I reboot the phone manually and then again I need to download the update file which is 1.2 gb. It is happening like this only and I downloaded the update 4 times but until now my system wasnt updated. Pls suggest me what to do. Thank You.

Hi.

This is a software problem...
Please go to Settings>Apps the open the menu placed on the top right of the phone and tap on "Show system"
Scroll down and find Firmware update, open it and tap on "memory" then tap on "clear cache" and "clear data"
Now try to do the update.

If this not work please do a restore of your phone or flash the new update directly in the phone using the SP Flash Tool.

Before changing android version we always advising users to perform factory reset. Settings - backup and reset - factory data reset.

Dear Vamsi,

Recently i purchased umi plus E and couple of days its worked fine. suddenly 4G mobile data got stopped.
it shows 4G symbol when you On the mobile data..but uanble to connect any thing..i am using vodafone bangalore 4G sim.
let me know have you faced any these similar issue.

UMI phones are stylish and look really nice. The Umi engineers do an excellent job in design, they are vert smart and bring out a new phone almost every month. Now how brilliant is that! Also, my UMi Rome matches the design of my new Italian business suit and the back cover is exactly the same color as my new shoes. When I'm on business in my Italian suit and pull out my UMi Rome,  people at the business meetings are very impressed. The back cover also matches the color of my American Express Centurian Business card - another fantastic plus for the UMi Rome. Whow what a beautiful phone!

I've had the phone a little less than 11 months and it hasn't worked for the last 3 months. The battery has swollen to 4 times it's size and when the phone did work the phone got very hot. The screen doesn't work. I press one icon and something else loads.

But the fact that the UMi Rome doesn't work doesn't matter. It matches my suiit, shoes, charge card, so what else can I ask for in a mobile phone?

\n\nI own an UMI SUPER. When I hit "System Updates" in order to upgrade to Android 7.0 it shows "Your device is running the latest update" or "Your system is updated" (i am not sure) and there are no notifications of Android 7.0 update. What should i do to get Nugat?

Ha ha, I love the sarcasm in your post. A lot of it speaks the truth, though. Umi says "wow, stylish, matches your lifestyle". But if the phone doesn't work as it should, what's the use of it? As someone once said, a rather expensive paper press.

I am also facing the problem I am not getting airtel 4g data connection in my umi plus. I am from Hyderabad.If you have any solution please let me know.

Hi, did you try this and if so what worked for you, my Super hasn't been able to update since 2016?!
Annoying as it can't connect in telephony mode via bluetooth and I tried updating by manually downloading the rom and that didn't work either, I really wish Umi would test their updates properly before breaking their users phones remotely, it puts me off buying another.
