Weird GPS-Problem

Hello,

I use my Emax now for a year or so and GPS was just fine all the time. Pretty exact and fast enough.
But since two days it just stopped working. The App "GPS Test" tells me, that my phone cant find any satellite. Nothing weird so far. But if I restart my phone and check GPS, my phone has for about 15-25 seconds very good GPS signal. It doesent matter, if I activate GPS just after the phone restarts or if I wait for two hours or so. Every time the same result. GPS signal for approximately 20 seconds and then nothing. Cant get any signal by turning GPS off and on again or wait or whatever. Just a restart help. But thats not a good solution in my opinion. Cant restart the phone all day long, when I want to use it for navigation.
I already tried to flash the phone whith Root Joy but the problem isnt gone. I use the KitKat 4.4.4 0603 Rom.

Has anyone an idea how to solve my problem? Thanks.

I have the same problem too. And what is more weird, is that problem started in about 2 or 3 days ago.

I've tested with another ROMs, have format all partitions with TWRP, tested all solutions that I've found, none work.

Like you, mine also stop working after about 20 seconds. Even after he found a lot of satellites.

My phone will make 1 year in September.

I found out how to stretch the time of the GPS signal. When you restarted your phone and have a signal turn GPS off before the signal is gone. If you turn GPS now back on you will have a signal for more than you would have without turning the signal off. You can do this several times and the signal will stay longer and longer. I get it up to over ten minutes. But then the next day I couldn't get any signal at all. So this isn't a solution too. But I think this shows that this is a software problem. I mean the GPS antenna seems to be working quite well.

UMI company please fix this big GPS problems, even if you've never offered an update on lolipop

Same problem here - tried serveral fixes but nothing works.

If you download "GPS Test" and start it after you restart it gives you a 3d fix and holds onto GPS,
atleast for me...
But once i turn it off and back on it's lost forever.
Umi fix please!

UMI FIX IT PLEASE.
When I restart phone, phone is trying to fix the satellites, but then freezes search sattelites. After freez search nothing ((

same here thought it might of been the VIBeMAX rom I've been using, was going to flash the phone tonight but looks like that may be pointless???

Just rooted to the latest kit kat and still GPS issue, anyone had any joy in sorting this issue out?
