Audio cut outs and phone restarts

Hi
i purchased the umi iron with the umi voix blus and some other accessories. I have a problem with audio, when i play music from the jack, the phone freezes and locks up, sometimes restarts. And when im playing music via bluetooth to the umi voix blus, i get a slight cut out of sound every now and again, and will skip some beats, like it is going out of range, however i am onlu about half a meter from the phone.
I am not sure if both issues are because of one problem or two seperate problems. Please help me out!

If that's a software issue, then all phones of the same kind should be affected. So, if others don't ...

Not many people have received their phones and also I doubt a lot have even tried Bluetooth audio.

BTW I have managed to solve the problem with the headphone jack, using mtk engineering mode, I went to hardware, audio and then headset audio, from the drop down menu I selected media, then I changed the Max volume to 70, and the value to 50.

These settings have stopped it crashing and switching off! Hopefully this will help others

Hi Kavil. What version ROM are you using? If it's not 1.4 you should update.

I updated as soon as I received it, I just figured out that as soon as the bass kicks in on a song, it would pause, sometimes even crash and reset.

I think there is a known issue when the volume is turned up to high. Do you have problems when it's at a low volume?

With the headphone jack, i dont have a problem with the volume low, however with bluetooth, i get cut outs at low volume too, this is not a headphone problem because i have tried the voix blu with another phone and they work perfectly.

is it a software issue? or hardware?

Hi Kavil. I've heard it's a software issue that will hopefully be rectified in the next rom update. It was also noticed in the latest gizmochina review.

Hi, I have retested the Bluetooth audio, and the headphone audio, however it is the same thing on 1.5, phone freezes after 50% volume on headphone output, and Bluetooth is skipping and jumping after about 60%volume

No i didnt, i dont really want to have to restore all my apps and contacts again. I dont see why that would help anyway, there was nothing in the change log about music fixes

\n\nI've done a quick resource about what headphone amplifier can be in the Iron and I narrowed it down to 4 amp. All these amps need at least 16 ohm impedance headphone.

What headphone are you using?
