The key selling point of the Umi Hammer was that it was a rugged phone, that you could drop it, throw it against a wall, sit on it, drive a car over it - Look on Youtube for "umi hammer" and every single video is about how tough it is.
So you produce an "upgrade" to this phone and casually slip in "not a tough phone" - So what makes this a Umi Hammer? Why not call it the "Umi wine-glass" or something that more accurately reflects what the upgrade has changed.
What's more - You have actually stopped making the old Hammer and pulled supplies, so now there is no decent tough phone on the market at all - So you have lost a good market niche you had. Has anyone there ever done a basic marketing or economics course?
Utterly ridiculous.
Is there anywhere I can still get a decent price on an original Hammer? |
