Well, that was fun while it lasted.
I have been having a hard time getting my computer to do adb fastboot and unlock the phone. When I finally did, I got TWRP installed and rebooted. YAY it worked! My phone booted and things were fine!
I had a couple more things I wanted to do, so I told adb to fastboot again... and now it's dead.
With the phone plugged into my Windows 10 laptop, if I hold down the power and vol up buttons for a VERY long time, the PC recognizes that something is attached, Device Manager quickly flashes some "MTK USB" entry, and then it's gone and my PC doesn't recognize anything.
Unplugged, or plugged in, if I hold the power button, or any combination of buttons, nothing happens. The screen doesn't light up at all (even to stay black).
Is my phone dead?
If I take it apart and remove the battery, would that reset some sort of PRAM or whatever that would let it boot again, or am I just out of luck? |
