Why do the Z2 and Z2 Pro use different cameras?
Which of the two devices has the better cameras or will make the better photos?
A very good camera is very important to me on my next smartphone.
Thus, the question of the better camera for me is crucial.
Currently we know only price for Umidigi Z2 pro ceramic version which is $359
Of course Z2 pro contain different sensors but is hard to decide only about pictures quality.
Overall Z2 pro camera quality will be better.
so far with the z2 pro I am impressed by stills and the panoramic feature but the stereo mode is unpredictable and the video is sub-par for the chip used for some reason it will not allow 4k to be shot, which is a disappointment given that my old phone shot 4k with a far less advanced set up. so far I have not got a response on whether or not there are plans to fix this, as it does feel a little bit unfinished in use.

Umidigi headquarter was investigating 4K recording and got answer from MTK that this chip is not supporting 4K.
We are also disappointed with first MTK promises and we are waiting for further drivers updates.
Thanks for the update, very disappointing news especially given the marketing, I know that MTK are still advertising the P60 as capable of 3840 x 2160 (UHD). Is there any timeframe on when MTK may get these features enabled or if they will make any gesture of goodwill towards owners and manufacturers who have been inconvenienced by their inability to deliver drivers that allow the claimed chip performance?
It is very unlikely that Mediatek is lying about the capabilities of their chip.
It would be nice to have an advanced menu to enable or disable some Camera Features.
