Battery charges only to 62% (why?) (new S2 Pro)

Hello. I just received my Umidigi S2 Pro and it only will charge to 62%. I plugged it in to charge all night and still it is only showing 62% battery charge. This is a new phone. Why is it only charging to 62%? Is there a reason for this? I want it to charge to 100%. Please help!

Reboot phone, check for updates, discharge battery and then charge again.

Thank you. Seems to be working better now for charging. Still, this is day one using the phone. Hoping the phone is good.

Hello,
I had the same problem with the battery taking 7 hours to be fully charged from 25% upwards. I received the phone with the battery charged at 50%. However, I finally decided to let the battery empty out completely and it charged from 0% to 100% in 3 hours. I hope that it works for you as well.
